graduated in law from Jagiellonian University (2002); DESS University of Reims - Champagne-Ardenne (2003), PhD in Law from the Jagiellonian University (2011). Since 2020 Associated Researcher at the UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels, within the Centre of EU Environmental Law Studies (CEDRE). Dr Sikora-Kalėda is a Senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Jagiellonian University within the Department of EU Law and Head of the JMM Sustainability and Climate Change in EU Law Project. Since 2004, a référendaire (law clerk) at the Court of Justice of the EU and, subsequently, at the EU General Court. Since 2017, Legal Adviser within the Legal Service of the Council of the European Union and the European Council. Her research interests focus on structural and constitutional aspects of EU law, as well as EU environmental law and fundamental rights. She has published on variety of topics, including a monograph on financial penalties under Article 260(2) and (3) TFEU (Kluwer Poland 2011). Her recent monograph “Constitutionalisation of Environmental Protection in EU Law” appeared in Europa Law Publishing in 2020.
