graduated in law from Vilnius University (1999); Master of European Studies, Bonn University (2000), PhD in Law from the Jagiellonian University (2002). Since 2004, a référendaire (law clerk) at the EU General Court and, subsequently, at the Court of Justice of the EU. Since 2017, a member of the Legal Service of the European Commission. Dr. Kalėda teaches EU Procedural Law in the Jagiellonian University since 2013. He has also conducted multiple training seminars for judges and lawyers in the framework of the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA), the Academy of European Law (ERA) and the European Judicial Training Network.
